Hello everyone.
So I recently got an influx of new followers after a drawing of mine was front-paged, so thank you all very much for following my work! Apologies for not been very active on Newgrounds for a while, life stuff and 2020 kind of got in the way. So I think it's time I gave an update on what I am doing nowadays.
Last year, I started work on re-booting an old series, "The Increasingly Absurd Endeavours of Gretchen Goosander", turning it from a book into a webcomic. So far it has come a long way with a lot of new concepts and complete character overhauls. The first 7 stories have been drafted out and a lot of new characters have been added. The tone of the story has also been the biggest shift, becoming much darker with much higher stakes, but ultimately it will keep its more humorous side that was present in the original story. The comic is a fantasy with a sci-fi twist, set in a world where there is magical creatures and emerging biopunk technology.
The basic premise of the story goes as follows. A young girl by the name of Gretchen Goosander heralds from a family of famous and widely celebrated explorers. Sadly, the world in which she inhabits is succumbing to a strange blight known as "the rot", literal scars of the world infested with demonic maggots. Furthermore, all of the magical creatures are believed to be extinct having not been seen in Centuries. However, a horrifying incident turns Gretchen's life upside-down, leaving her in the care of a fragile newborn dragon and forcing her to confront the reality that her family may have been at least partially responsible for helping create the rot. She sets out into the world, accompanied by her tiny dragon, so that she can set things right.
The comic is full of bizarre characters and creatures, from the adorable whistling unicorn to the terrifying sabre-toothed swan. If you're interested in this concept, I regularly post updates and sketches on Twitter, (I'm more active there these days compared to other platforms).

Anyway, I hope all of you are keeping well despite current circumstances.
Peace ^^
