I am joking about it being a mistake of course. My first post on there already has a ton of views and likes despite it being really low effort.
But it really sheds a light on how bad platforms like Instagram are becoming for artists. My posts get absolutely buried on there now, only scraping 20 likes if I'm lucky (whereas my posts used to get between 40-60 likes). I know we all like to joke about TikTok being cringe, but I'd rather be on a "cringe" platform than one that's completely unusable.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to being able to make some short process videos and other little projects. Feel free to follow me on there if you're interested in that kind of stuff!

I hope it helps you to reach a wider audience! I've been thinking about platforms as well: How you're just forced to follow the currently most used one, which changes every five years or so. It's annoying but that's how exposure always worked as an artist anyway. Good luck!

Thanks! And yeah it is really annoying, isn't it? A bit like playing hopscotch with platforms.
